JEC World, the leading event for the global composites industry, took place in Paris on 4-6 March. EOLIAN partners Brunel Composites Centre (BCC), Politecnico di Milano, Norvento Enerxía and EuCIA attended the event.

The ‘blade table’ at the EuCIA booth provided a suitable setting for the EOLIAN meeting. This is an example of thermoset blade repurposing produced as part of the REFRESH project, where EuCIA is also a partner. The vitrimer composites used in new EOLIAN blades will pave the way to different opportunities for blade recycling and reuse.

It was great to see everyone in Paris for a quick catch-up on EOLIAN activities and to discuss the advances in composites technologies for wind energy on display at JEC World this year.
